The 1st period
Step 1 preparation
1. Greetings.
2. Free talking.
Step2 say the animals’ name.
T: Look! I’ve got a nice dog. Has anybody brought any dogs here? Show

them to me, and put them on the table.(教师让所有带狗的同学把狗放在前面的讲台上)
T:Now let’s see. Ah, this is a cat .Has anybody got any cat? Put the cats here. 就这样直到八种动物都放在桌子上,紧接着教师随便拿起一种动物,问: What’ this? How many ……?
Step 3 Mime the sound
T: OK, let’s have a guessing game. I have many animal pictures here. I’ll ask one person to come here and look at the first picture on the top and mime the sound of that animal. For example, miao ,(教师学猫叫)you say it’s a cat. Do you understand? Let’s do it.
Who wants to try first? 等全部的词被猜出以后教师告诉大家在英语中动物有一定的叫法,比如,a dog, woof, woof; a cat, meow, meow……
Step 4 Draw animals
1. Draw two pictures by yourself.
2. Let’s see who draw the best?

Step 2 Guess the animals
T: Now, let’s play a guessing game. I have many animal pictures here. I’ll ask one pupil to come here. This pupil will look at the first picture and mime the animal. You guess what animal it is. Remember. Don’t let other pupils see this picture. The first person who guesses right will get a point.
