FIELD: glass production. SUBSTANCE: bath glass manufacturing furnace has arch, walls and boiling pool with side walls of refractory material with cooling members, using water and evaporation cooling. Cooling members are mounted adjoined outside and made in the form of two rows of steel pipes, located in two vertical planes, and longitudinal steel
stripes, welded on cooling pipes along the whole their length at an angle of 45 deg. to vertical plane. Space between axes of coil pipes is 2.4 - 3 outer diameters of pipe, space between planes, in which coil pipes are located, is 1.0 - 1.2 and height of longitudinal steel stripe is 0.2 - 0.3 of outer diameter of pipe of coil pipe.
