collect v. 收集 = have a collection of … (1). Collecting stamps is Mike’s hobby. = Mike’s hobby is collecting stamps.
collect money 集资 collect information 搜集信息 (2). They are collecting money for the poor children. 他们正在为贫困儿童捐款. (3). He wants to be a great collector. 他想成为一名伟大的收藏家.

a bit 表示“稍微、一点儿”，可以用来修饰动词以及形容词、副词的原级、比较级。修饰名词。例如：

情态动词，在此表示推测，意为“一定”。must与be连用表示最有力的判断或肯定的推测。It’s snowing outside. It must be
cold tomorrow.

注意：must 表推测时通常只用于肯定句中，表示语气强烈的否定推测时不用mustn’t，而用can’t，意为“不可能”。 That girl can’t be Ann. Ann is much taller.那个女孩不可能是安，安个子高许多。 8.I’ll show you my stamps too. 我把我的邮票也拿给你看看。
show后接双宾语，当物和人都是名词 时，可用show sb. sth.=show sth. to sb. 当物和人都是代词时，必须把物放在前面。
9.My hobby doesn’t cost as much as yours……我的爱好不像你们的爱好那么费钱。cost much意思是“花很多钱”，如： We can take a taxi.That doesn’t cost much 我们可以打车去，花不了多少钱。 as … as 和……一样……e.g.
His fans are as valuable as yours. 他的扇子和你的一样有价值 10. Their value isn’t always important.
value n. 价值；有用性 valuable adj. 值钱的；有价值的 e.g. This book will be of great value to him in his study. 这本书将对他的研究有很大价值。

(3). 他们既卖报纸也卖书. They sell books as well as newspapers. 注意：连接并列主语时，谓语动词与前一主语保持一致. (4). He as well as his parents goes there every year. = with (5). Helen as well as I is in Class One. I as well as Helen am in Class One. as well as 介词短语，“除了” = besides 或 in addition to (1).As well as visiting Beijing, we spent a day in Tianjin. 除了游览北京以外，我们还在天津过了一天. (2). 除了打篮球以外，他还会踢足球.
