well,somethinghappenedandchangedthesituation.wewontherightofholdingtheolympicgamesin20XX.afterthat,sportsbecameakindofgameincampus.andtherearemanysportsclubsinschool.onedaysomeoneaskedme:“areyougonnatryoneofthose?”firstifeltsowired.

“trytogetintosportsclubs?areyoukidding?”isaid.andshegoes:“whynot??it’snothardatall,andsofascinating!”soididtriedoneandiwassoluckytobeeoneofthosewhodidorienteering.thatisafantasticsport!youneed

torunandfindwheretogojustbyusingamapandapass.it’swasn’tpopularinchinaatfirst.butwhenwehearditmightbeeaneweventin20XX,wedidpracticedhard,andaimedtowinthefirstchampionoforienteeringintheworld.whenwepracticed,therewerealotoftroubles.youknow,sometimesyouneedtogowithyourfeet,butsometimesyouneedtogowithyourheart.insomesituations,wefacedthedifficultiesandproblems.andweneedtosolvethatthroughteamworkandstrongwillpower.sowecanrunfaster,gohigherandbestronger.thatiswhatwesay—olympicspirit.

nowthedreamcametrue.i’mstandingherewithallmybodyandmyheartputinsports.sodothepeoplefromallovertheworldtohereattheolympicgames.it’stheolympicgamesthatmakeustogether.wearehereforabigdayofsport;wearehereforadreamofsports.wearehereforaspiritofsportthatencouragesustofacethedifficultiesoftodayandtomorrow. 篇二 Dearfriends:

Itwasalongfouryears.EvenafterIhadactuallygraduated,thenightmaresbegantohauntme,theuniversitywouldcalltosayIhadn’ttrulygraduated.TherehadbeenamistakeandtherewasjustonemoreclassIneededtotake.Iwasalwayssorelievedtowakeupandrealizethatithadonlybeenab

addream.Inreality,Ihadpletedeverycourseneededformydegree,andIwasafull-fledgedcollegegraduate!

Now,therestofmylifeloomedaheadofme.Sometimesabachelor’sdegreepreparesyouforaspecificoccupation——youtraintobeanaccountant,yougraduateandgetapositioninanaccountingfirm.Often,however,yourstintincollegeonlypreparesyoutomakefurtherdecisionsregardingyourfuture.You’reprettysurewhatyoudon’twanttodo!

Duringmysenioryearofcollege,Ihadtoyedwiththeideaofchangingmymajor.Atthatpoint,Ihadfinallydiscoveredwhatcapturedmyheart.But,wantingtofinallybefinishingschoolwasastrongerpull.So,Itookafewcoursesinphysiologyandexercisescience,butnotenoughtoreceiveadegreeinphysicaltherapy.Thatwouldrequireadvancedschooling,beyondmybachelor’sdegree——andIjustwasn’treadytotacklethat.HavingpletedmyB.C.degree,Ididn’thaveanyintentionsoffurtheringmyeducation.

So,Ididthesafethingandgotanofficejob——theverythingIwassurethatIdidn’twanttodo!Idetestedtheofficepolicies,thesuitsIhadtowearandthedowntownenvironmentthatIhadtodrivetoeveryday.IknewthiswasnotwhereIbelonged.

Butgodknewwhatpathmycareerwastofollow.Apositionopenedupatthemostexclusivehealthclubinourcity,soIapplied.Thiswasmykindofenvironment——anactive,vibrantkindofplace——pletelyattheoppositeendofthespectrumfromtheofficeenvironmentwhereIfoundmyself.ThepositionrequiredthatIworkSaturdaynightsandSundaymornings.Perfect,Ithought!IcouldkeepmyofficejobMondaythroughFridayandworkatmydreamjobontheweekends.Thisarrangementlastedseveralmonthsuntil,eventually,afull-timepositionopenedupandIwasabletoresignfrommyofficejob.

Overthenextfewyears,Iworkedmywayuptheleader,gainingexperienceinseveraldifferentdepartments.Ifoundmynicheasthedirectorofmemberservices——cateringtoourclienteleandprovidingthemwithnumerouscutting-edgeprograms.Iwouldhavestayedatthatjobforever——itseemedtobethepinnacleofallmydreamsfulfilled.HerewerefellowemployeeswhohadapassionforthesamethingsthatIdid——healthandfitness.Yetagain,godhadotherplansformylife.Withintwoyears,anewer,bigger,betterandmorestate-of-the-arthealthclubfacilitywasbuilt——justfivemilesdowntheroad.And,inturn,theownerlostmanymemberstothatclub.And,inturn,theownerlostthousandsofdollars.Onebyonewewereeachlaidoff.
