PURPOSE: An image recorder is
provided to output the high quality and high gray level monotone image at a low cost by arranging the density order of monotone ink in proportion to the lightness order of color ink.
CONSTITUTION: An image recorder is composed of a recording nozzle group discharging three kinds of ink or more, a driving unit relatively moving the
recording nozzle group to a recording medium(4), an image brightness signal input unit(1) inputting three kinds of image brightness signals or more, and a
recording control unit recording the image on the recording medium by discharging three kinds of white/black ink or more
from the recording nozzle group based on the image brightness signals. A color inkjet printer is arranged such that the order of lightness of color ink in color ink arrangement is identical to the density order of monotone ink.
