Which bus should I take if I want to go to the hospital? ? How long does it take to get to Beijing from here with this high-speed train? ? When does the train from Hong Kong arrive? 聚焦有关常用表达,引出本单元学习目标。 二、热身练习 教师随机提问学生: 导出下一部分的练习。 A. What would you say in the following situations? a) When you want to go to the railway station. ? Could you please tell me which bus should I take to the railway station? ? Excuse me, is this the right bus to the railway station? ? Could you tell me where I can catch the bus to the railway station? b) When you check in at the airport. ? Is Flight 102 to New York on schedule? ? What time does Flight 102 arrive? ? Do I check in here for Flight 102? c) When you buy the tickets at the booth. ? Which train should I take for Beijing, please? ? When does the train from Hongkong arrive? ? Three tickets to Qingdao, second class, please. B. Could you talk about traveling on high-speed train with your partner? You may use the following clues to help you: ? the period to get to the destination ? speed meter ? more comfortable ? more expensive ? modern technology 学生朗读强记有关问候和介绍的常用表达句型,老师要求学生利用这些常用表达以小组活动的形式,口头编写对话并操练。 三、课堂活动 Task 2 要求学生听录音、分角色朗读对话。在播放录音之前,提出以下问题,引导学生特别留意“交通”所使用的表达: How will you ask about the ticket fare? How to make sure you are on the right bus? 常用表达: ? How much is the fare, please? ? Does this bus go to Washington Park?或者说: ? Is it the right bus to Washington Park?回答说:You are on the right bus. / It is the right one. Task 3 把对话中重点的知识点以这种形式导出,然后进行讲解。 A. 听前预测。教师引导学生朗读生词,要求学生听播音前提前阅读段落,通过已知的内容预测对话大体内容和空格所填词的词性或词组搭配,以提高学生的英语预测能力。 B. 播放录音,提醒学生注意有关“交通”的常用表达: ? a window seat ? aisle seat ? put our suitcases on the rack. ? the luggage rack ? under the seat ? when the train is due in Beijing ? a through train C. 听中确定正确的答案。 D. 听后核对答案。 Task 4 A. 教师引导学生查看选项并预测问题。 B. 教师播放录音,引导学生选择正确的答案。 C. 师生核对答案。 D. 引导学生特别留意以下常用表达: ? Which bus shall I take for Beihai Park?提问乘车方式。 Task 5 A. 教师引导学生阅读朗读生词。 B.教师要求学生阅读所提供的描述,引导学生预测对话内容。 C. 教师播放录音,要求学生在听的过程中,结合描述中出现的关键词进行简单记录。 D. 提供以下几个问题,以检验学生是否可以回忆起所听的细节,问题如下: ? Where does the man want to go? (Anhua Street.) ? Which direction will the man go? (South.) ? What is the man doing in this city? (Touring) E. 师生核对答案。 Task 6 A. 本题的3 个会话是本单元的主题对话。引导学生读懂对话前括弧中会话的情景(如果时间允许,下次课复习的时候可以再做一次这个练习),对学生进行提问: a) What is Tom asking? b) Where does Mrs. White want to go? c) How long does it take Wang to get to the destination? 让学生听conversation,回答问题。 Answer: a) How to use the bus. b) New York. c) An hour and a half. B. 要求学生会说会用以下重点表达: ? I wouldn’t have to transfer. 我不必转车。 e.g. I took the subway and then transferred to the bus. 我搭乘地铁然后再改乘公共汽车。 ? the counter to check in for the flight 办理登机手续的柜台 e.g. Passengers should check in one hour before their flight time at the latest. ? Prices of tickets sold in off-peak seasons are much lower than those of peak seasons. e.g. No matter off peak or peak seasons, you always see a big crowd of people. 无论是旅游淡季或旺季,都是人头攒动。 C. 分角色朗读对话 D. Role play. Task 7 把本单元主题的重点知识点以这种形式导出,然后进行讲解。 A. 听前预测。教师引导学生朗读表格中的英文表达,通过对话已知的内容预测对话情景和对话内容。 B. 听中确定正确的答案。 C. 听后核对答案。 D. Role play. Task 8 本试题主要是培养学生的口译能力。 A. 学生分组,小组讨论句子所需的重点搭配,句型。 B. 小组活动,一人读出试题,一人口译;反过来转换任务。 C. 教师进行必要的解释,师生互对答案。 D. 要求学生会说会用以下重点表达: ? Which bus should I take to the zoo? ? How long will it take from … to …? ? It is a through train. ? Only two hours and a half. ? Can I help you? — I’d like to book a ticket to … Task 9 本题旨在帮助学生进行语言输出。情景一:侧重登机;情景二:侧重乘坐出租车。 A. 引导学生读懂所给的情景,分组进行对话活动。 B. 对小组所创设的对话,进行角色演绎。鼓励一至两个小组,在全班进行角色扮演。 C. 教师给出可借鉴的重点表达。 You may use the following clues to help you: 情景一: ? Does the taxi take credit cards? 四、文化拓展 此部分是为了拓展学生的东西方文化知识,引导学生了解东西方有关交通的文化差异。 A. 要求学生课下独立完成有关阅读。 B. 教师可借鉴以下问题,了解学生课下阅读情况。
