教学目标：1.让学生在练习中得以掌握have 和 has 的对比和运用。
2.在情景中运用small, big,, short, tall。
教学重点：1.让学生在练习中得以掌握have 和 has 的对比和运用。
2.在情景中运用small, big,, short, tall。
教学难点：have 和 has 的对比和运用。
教学过程：
1、教师为学生播放本单元第一课时的教学录音，复习单词big, short, small, tall。
2、了解so 的用法。 so 在句子中的意思是：“强调某种程度”。
3、教师出示单词卡片或实物对比的方法，再次认读并复习表示大小、长短的单词big, long, short, small, tall。
4、根据学生对课件的记忆以及平日生活中的观察，让学生说说大象的眼睛、鼻子以及整体的样子。
S: The elephant has a long nose. It has big ears. It has a short tail. It is (so)big. 教师引导学生将这些句子用and连接在一起，并带读：Look at the elephant, It’s so big. It has a long nose and a short tail. It has small eyes and big ears.
5、再次播放Let’s talk部分的教学课件，让学生跟读对话中的句子，模仿发音，要求自然生动。 6、Story time
（1）本故事表现的是Zip, Zoom的故事。 （2）读懂故事，并分角色扮演。

教学目标：1、通过歌曲检查学生对本课的熟悉和掌握程度；
2、通过做题检查学生对本课的熟悉和掌握程度。
教学重点：1、复习本单元所学的字母、单词和句型。
2、能够准确完成Start to read和Let’s check的内容。
教学难点：了解Story time部分故事内容，能够听懂、会说，分角色表演故事。
教学过程：
1、放Start to read部分的录音，学生画出正确的句子。
2、做书上Let’s check检查学习情况。
3、学习Let’s sing 和Story time
4、做活动手册上相应的练习。 5、课外活动（Add-activities） 6、将学会的国家名字说给家长听。

3、复习描述动物特征的句型：It is (so)…/It has …
4、词汇：国家名：the UK, Canada, the USA,China

教学过程：
1、全体学生按节奏拍手，拍两下手掌拍两下膝盖。教师吧1-3单元的单词卡片按照节奏规律挂到黑板上，学生拍两下手掌是说出单词，在拍两下膝盖作为停顿；然后继续拍两下手掌说出下一个单词，以此类推。
T: Let’s play the game: Clapping the words. Clap your hands and then clap your knees. Follow me please.
2、教师引导学生吧黑板上的单词卡片进行分类，每一组找一类单词。
国家名：the UK, Canada, the USA, China
家庭成员：grandfather/grandpa, grandmother/grandma, father/dad, mother/mum, brother, sister
形容词：thin, fat, tall, short, long, small, big
其他：teacher, student, pupil, man, woman
T: wonderful! You can read so many words now. can you group the words?
Team 1 will find the words of countries.
Team 2 will find the words of families.
Team 3 will find the words of adjectives（形容动物或人物特征的词）.
Team 4 will find the words of the other words.
3. 整体看图阅读，复习打招呼和介绍朋友认识的用语。
（1）引导学生看课本插图，教师提出问题，组织学生讨论：
T: Look at the pictures. what can you see? Where are they? What are they doing?
Read by yourselves and find out.
答案：打招呼和介绍朋友认识。
（2）引导学生梳理所学的打招呼用于以及介绍用语。
