【摘要】@@ This project was started by learning the biological surface structures with special wettabilities in nature at first, and selects some typical ones to reveal the mechanism about the special wettabilities on their surface. Via scrutinizing the micro-structure on the surface of a lotus leaf, the project's scientists discover that the coordinated role exerted by the leaf surface's micro-/nano- composite structure and the wax-like secretion is the key point that gives rise to the self-clearance of the leaf.
