Private Cars in China
Nowadays, with the rapid development of economy in China, more people have cars. They can bring convenience to people’s life, but there are many disadvantages of driving a car. First of all, it pollutes air. Secondly, it is hard to find a parking space in the city; sometimes, you have to pay a high fee for the parking stall. Furthermore, gas is an extra monthly expense if you own a car, and the gas price is higher and higher. Furthermore, there might be danger when you drive a car. There are many accidents every day. So you have to drive a car, you must be very carefully no matter how tired you might be after a day’s work. It is true that if you own a car, life might be easier for you because you can drive to wherever you want to with your families and friends, but in general, I suggest you to take bus rather than to buy a car. 七、书信

Dear Cindy,
How are you getting along? I haven’t heard from you for a long time. Are you still working at the railway station? How is your daughter? Is she studying at Lanzhou University now? If I am not mistaken, the last time I saw her was two years ago. I moved to another city because my husband changed his work. We are now in Xinjiang province, in an oil field close to Yili. There are not very many people here. Life is boring and I spend a lot of time watching TV.
Come and visit us when you have holidays or when you come to Xinjiang on business. We have a big house now. You can live in my place and we treat you the local food. Please drop me a line when you have time.
Best wishes!
