There is a very popular cat on the Internet. Its name is Gorge. This cat likes to stand up站立 on its two back legs very much. Gorge does this when he meets someone new or can’t see the TV. His owner, Andrew Park, has put several hundred pictures on the Internet. And people all like the lovely cat. Now Gorge has more than a thousand fans.
Andrew’s family moved to a new house six weeks ago. In their old house, Gorge never stood on his back legs before. But after about three weeks in their new house, he began doing this happily. But no one in the family knows how or why he wants to do this. The family also has two dogs, Apple and Banana. But Gorge quickly became the king in the house. Now the dogs like to follow him and play with him.
“He has really short front legs. So maybe it is difficult for him to climb up onto things like other cats. And it is easier for him to stand up. If there’s a noise in the next room, he does it, too,” Andrew said.
Why did Andrew put Gorge’s pictures on the Internet? Andrew answered: “He brings us so much joy and happiness. So we thought we should share
it with others.”
Although Gorge has an unhappy face, he is the friendliest cat the family has ever had. “We take him for a walk after dinner every day. And all our neighbors 邻居like him.
