College life
Hu: Time flies.We will come to the end of the second year of our college life.However,our memory always reminds us of the past days in high school.At that time,we have the ambition to be admitted by prestigious universities for a variety of reasons,such as gaining new experiences,preparing for a bright career,enlarging kinds of knowledge.So can you tell us something about it?
Xia: In any case,the university can learn more knowledge and life skill.At the same time,it also be able to continue to university studies.For example,many students study hard and get a good score in the entrance exams for postgraduate schools.And another part of students go abroad after finishing their studies.
Ran: My purpose of college is to find a good job in the future.With the development of society,all kinds of jobs have higher requirements of the workers.Because of this,there are many people study in college for hunting a good job.Most of companies think that degree is most important in recent years when they are hiring.It is difficult to be hired if your degree below their standard.It is one of the reasons I am in college.
Hu: Someone says if life were a piece of colorful drawing ,college life would be one of the brightest colors. If life were a meaningful poem,college life would be one of the most beautiful words.Of course,college life is an especially important period of time.So can you share some entertaining experiences with us.
Yu: One of my happy and memorable experience during my two-years college life is that I make a really good friend whose name is xiao li. In accordance with her cute character ,we give her a suitable pet name,lesser panda.There were a lot of funny things happened to us . Let me give a joke about her. She like babys very much , so everyday she dream of a baby can turn up in front of her .One day ,she saw a baby’s picture and said to me excitedly ,” I want many babys around me ,and I will make all of the as my god mothers ”Certainly , I know what she want to express , but her mistake make me laugh for a good while.
Jiang: At the university there are many things make me happy.I knew a lot of students from across the country and I also made some friends.At the university we have more free time and we can use the time to travel,to volunteer,to do something what we want.What’s more,I learnt a lot by participating in some student orgnazations at the university.Furthermore,I can access to social contact gradually and learn some useful skills how to intergrate into society.
Xu: Come to reality, my college life also wonderful. Because I have my lovely roommates we also remembered an episode happened in our college life. That is going to bed at 9 o’clock at the first arriving day to college. It was so funny that it is
me who went to bed first .They all laughed why I went to bed so early when they recalled this thing, and they always laugh at me! But we all feel happy at that time. You can imagine how lovely my roommates are.
Xia: I have many happy things in college life.I learned a lot of knowledge,looked a number of books I like and handed a bunch of good friends.What's more,I have more time to do as I please.For example,I can play basketball all afternoon unlike the high school.
Ran: There are many memorable things happened in my college life.Such as I have a crazy day in the amusement park of HangZhou with my classmate.In that day,I played many things that I never played before.In addition to this,my friends and I take part in a competition of table tennis.That's very meaningful.In a word,my college life is full of good memories.
Hu: However,sometimes we have such feelings as boredom,upset and disappointment about our college life.
Yu: What always make me sad is homesick . I come from He Bei province , it is a long distance between He Bei province and Zhe Jiang province .So I can not go back home frequently , actually, only summer vocation and winter vocation can I go back to my hometown which I have daily and nightly in thoughts. Sometimes I miss my parents and friends very much .Fortunately , my college friends are thoughtful , they make me feel warm ,so everything is ok now.
Jiang: Admitted to a good university is our only goal in the high school.At that time we always were told that you can play happy and relax when you are in university.However after entering the university I realized that we still should be study hard.There was an actual feel cheated.What we have to learn is more difficult and we also have to attend a lot of classes.It’s also make me feel tired.
Xu: But sometimes we may have pressure our study or exam. I feel sad when I hadn’t pass the CET-4 exam. So I decide spend more time in learning English instead of playing computer games.I believe I will successful after my work hard. And it is also a good lesson for me to learn how to make my college life become meaningful!
Hu: In my point of view,if we make good use of our golden time in college,we will learn a lot of things not only in textbooks,but also outside textbooks;not only in theory ,but also in practice.Meanwhile,we can pick up a lot of precious stones named good sense,independence,cooperation spirit and determination.
