Abstrict:All the countries in the world to train talents for 21st century education, family education has very important position. Family education is obviously attracted the attention of various social circles, especially the academic attention, but USA and China family education still exist many problems. This paper introduces the definition of family education, points out the main problems existing America and Chinese family education. Through a comparative study, discusses the reasons of family education between China and the United States different formation (mainly is the goal and method of family education, etc.). At the same time, according to the comparison of family education between China and the United States, puts forward some suitable for Chinese family education methods
