The way to King Street
Last week Mrs. Mills went to London.
She does not know London very well, and she lost her way. Suddenly, she saw a man near a bus stop. ‘Ican ask him the way'.she said to herself. ‘Excuse me',she said.
‘Can you tell me the way to King Street, pleas'e The man smiled pleasantly. He did not understand English! He spoke German. He was a tourist.
Then he put his hand into pocket, and took out a phrasebook. He opened the book and found a phrase. He read the phrase slowly. ‘Iam sorry', he said. ‘Ido not speak English'.

favorably顺利地，hard努力地
方式副词常用来修饰动词，包括不定式、动名词和分词，通常位于被修饰的动词 后面;修饰及物动词时，一般放在宾语的后面。位置：动宾后

--The snow continued to fall heavily. heavily修饰不定词 to fall。

1. 直接+ly

2. 辅音+y，变y为i，再加ly

3. 同形情况(不仅限于方式副词) early early hard hard well well
