【教学目标】
通过本课的学习, 学生能够:
1. 理解短文大意,并能正确完成相应练习。 2. 流利表达自己喜欢的季节与相应的活动。
3. 产生学习英语的兴趣,敢于、乐于、善于开口讲英语,树立学好英语的信心。
【教学重、难点】
重点:短文内容的理解,相应练习的完成。
难点:利用本单元所学的单词、短语及句型表达自己喜欢的季节及原因。
【教学过程】
一、Pre-reading
1. Free talk: -Who’s your favorite teacher?- My favorite teacher is …./-What’s your favorite food?-My favorite food is …./ -What’s your favorite fruit?-My favorite fruit is …./ -What’s your favorite day?- My favorite day is …./-What’s your favorite season?- My favorite season is …. 2.Revision
Seasons:spring(warm and rainy)/ summer (hot and sunny) / autumn (hot and sunny) / winter (cold and snowy)
Sentence pattern: -What’s your favorite season? -My favorite season is… - Why? – Because… 3. Let’s chant.
Spring is warm with green green trees. Summer is hot with red red flowers. Autumn is cool with golden golden leaves. Winter is cold with white white snow.
二、While-reading
1. New words and phrases: pink/ lots of fruits/ golden leaves/ play in the snow/ make a snowman etc.
2. Skimming: Ask Ss to skim the text and finish exercise 2. 3. Scanning: Ask Ss to scan the text and finish exercise 1. 4. Read and write.
