摘 要
光纤到户（FTTH）是光网接入的一种理想实现方案。将光网络单元（ONU）直接设置于用户家庭或者企事业单位办公室，是一种全光纤的接入网，具有端到端的高带宽传输能力，对业务的内容、格式等都有高度的透明性。近年来，随着业务种类和数量的不断增加，用户侧的业务从传统的话音为主逐渐向包括话音、视频及各种交互式数据业务融合的方向发展。国内对于FTTH的讨论逐渐升温，市场的需求、日渐降低的成本以及前所未有的历史机遇，正推动着FTTH在我国的应用。
本论文首先概述了FTTH的系统结构，对EPON、GPON等接入方式作论述和比较，其次，分析和阐述GPON的原理和关键技术。本文重点阐述了GPON FTTH在通信运营商（以中国联通为例）网络规划建设中的组网模式、带宽预算、光分配网络（ODN）规划等关键技术，最后介绍了中山市三乡前陇恒安街FTTH接入新建工程。

The principle and implementation of Fiber
To The Home (FTTH)
Abstract
Fiber to the home ( FTTH ) is a kind of ideal optical network access scheme. Optical network unit ( ONU ) is directly set up in the user families or enterprises office, it is a kind of all optical fiber access network ,having high bandwidth of end-to-end transmission capacity, and its altitudinal transparency of the service content and format. In recent years, with the increasing of quantity and type of business, the user side of the business developed from traditional voice to business amalgamation included voice ,video and interactive data. The discussion of the FTTH in our state rises gradually, the demand of the market, reducing cost and the unprecedented historical opportunity, these are promoting the application of the FTTH in China.
Firstly present paper will first introduce the system structure of FTTH , describes and compares the access methods in EPON and GPON. Secondly, analyses and explains the principle and key technology of GPON .This article emphatically introduced the key technologies of the GPON FTTH in the network model in network planning construction ,the budget of the bandwidth and the planning of the optical distribution network ( ODN ) in telecommunications operators( China Unicom ,for example). Finally introduced the villas, office buildings, residential corridor and cafe / customer EPON solutions. Finally , introduced the solutions in GPON basis of villas, office buildings, residential corridor and Internet bar/ major account.
