Compared with traditional travel, traveling on a budget is more flexible, which makes it possible for travelers to arrange the schedule freely and enjoy the delight of the journey at a lower cost. However, the accommodation conditions are often far from satisfactory, and the budget travelers’ safety cannot be guaranteed.
From my perspective, traveling on a budget is well worth a try. Not only does it contribute to developing people’s problem-solving ability in unexpected situations, but it also shapes their character during the demanding journey.
2. Generation gap between parents and children
Nowadays, there are more and more understandings between parents and children which are so-called generation
gap. It is estimated that 75 percentages of parents often complain their children’s unreasonable behavior while children usually think their parents too old-fashioned.
Why have there been so much misunderstandings between parents and children? Maybe the reasons can be listed as
follows
The first one is that the two generations, having grown up at different times, have different likes and dislikes, thus
disagreement often rises between them. Besides, due to having little in common to talk about, they are not willing to sit face to face. The third reason is with the pace of modern life becoming faster and faster, both of them are so busy with their work or study that they don’t spare enough time to exchange ideas. To sum up, the main cause of this is due to their lack of communication and understanding with each other.
It is high time that something were done upon it. For one thing, children should respect their parents. For another,
parents also should show concern for their children. All these measures will certainly bridge the generation gap.
3. Mind Your behavior While Traveling Abroad
As more and more Chinese go on overseas trips, reports about their bad manners flood in. Many overseas Chinese are embarrassed when foreigners ask them if all Chinese shout loudly, litter or spit everywhere. The poor behavior of some Chinese has done great harm to our good image and reputation.

about the culture and people there, and talk and behave properly to improve China’s image in foreigners’ eyes. Wherever you go you need to protect the environment. In this way, you’ll win respect for yourself as well as our country.
4. The Advantages of Disadvantages of Studying Abroad
Nowadays, many middle school students prefer studying abroad because English plays an important role in their daily life. Generally speaking, the advantages of doing so are as follows. First, it gives them a good environment for language study. Second, they can learn foreign advanced science and technology. Besides, they can also spread our national culture to foreign countries.
But every coin has two sides. The negative aspects are also apparent. One of the important disadvantages is that middle school students are too young to take care of themselves and that they lack life experience. To make matters worse, the cost for life and studying is too high.
Through the above analysis, I believe that the positive aspects overweigh the negative ones. As for me, I would like to go abroad for my future education.
5. Planning Is Good, but Doing Is Better
“Planning is good, but doing is better” is a well-known motto, which means the plan is good because it determines how we do what we want to do; however, a plan can bear no fruit without being actually put into practice.
During the days when I began to learn how to swim, my elder brother as my instructor, always offered clear explanations and patiently gave me some demonstration. His contribution had great effect on me. Also, he was looking forward to my success. Eventually, I not only succeeded, but also made it well.
Through this experience, I have every reason to believe that each of our success comes from a combination of good planning first and better doing then.

(3) 表达你的歉意并建议将旅行推迟到8月份。 Dear Chris,
How are you getting on with your studies? Are you still remembering we planned to take a trip to Yunnan in July? Unfortunately, we have to delay the trip because a few days ago I had my feet injured.
I feel sorry for it. Would you mind putting off this trip until late August? I sincerely hope that you can forgive me. Please write back soon.
Yours, Joe
Dear Jim,
I’m happy to receive your letter and know you’re coming to China. Of the two trips to the Yangtze River and Mount Tai, both are highly recommended. Personally, I prefer the tour along the Yangtze River, the longest river in China. You can learn a lot about the history of China and Chinese civilization. Moreover, the scenery along the river is amazing, with many well-known sightseeing pots. That’s why I think the trip along the Yangtze River will be a better choice.
Hope you’ll have a good time in China.
Yours, Li Hua
