The founders of Marxism took ＂dissecting trivial matters under the microscope＂ as a methodology of researching. They established their theory with precise style and deliberate means, which has become an example in the field of textual criticism. 2. Historical materialism is an experiential summary of close integration of the profound theoretical demonstration and abundant historical instances. It is also an exclusive scientific conception of history which has been continuously verified. 3. In order to resist varied conceptions which do not belong to historical conceptions of Marxism, researchers in the field of historical theory of Marxism should possess profound theoretical qualities, a rich fund of historical knowledge, and be good at textual criticism of history. Only in this way, historical materialism can be enriched and be better improved.
