该文件描述了由微型处理器控制的8辆高速联挂车的电空摩擦制动系统,主要由以下几种列车配置组成:
EC01 – TC02 – IC03 – BC04 – FC05 – IC06 – TC07 – EC08 电空摩擦制动系统由“Knorr Bremse-铁路客车制动系统”专门为高速列车而设计。
论文主要概述了CRH3型车整个制动与空气供应系统,以及推荐的接口方法。该系统专门为恶劣的铁路环境而设计,并着重考虑了以下因素:

Abstract
This document describes the microprocessor controlled,
electro-pneumatic friction brake system of a 8-car high speed multiple unit, consisting of the following train configuration:
EC01 – TC02 – IC03 – BC04 – FC05 – IC06 – TC07 – EC08 The electro-pneumatic friction brake system was developed by “Knorr Bremse – Brake Systems for Railway Vehicles” especially for high-speed train applications.
This section provides a general description of the complete brake and air supply system along with the interface methodology proposed. The system has been designed for application to the harsh railway environment with significant attention paid to the following factors:
- Safety - Reliability - Availability
- Low LCC (life cycle costs)
