【摘要】Objective To explore the effect of hyperbaric oxygen(HBO) on treating meningeoma with peritumoral brain edema after tumorectomy. Methods According to the principle of holding the balance of preoperative and postoperative, the clinical data of 232 patients with peripheral edema around meningeoma were divided into experimental group and control group, that each were 116 cases. HBO therapy was early applied in experimental group and other therapy was conformed to control group. The function state (KPS score), operative regional edema volume of these groups were performed inductive statistics at half months after tumoreetomy. The cases of abnormal operative regional density image and neurofunctional disturbance at half years after operation were analyzed. Result The KPS score and operative regional edema volume have no significant difference between these two groups 3 days after operation (P>0. 05); the KPS score of experimental group was higher than control group at half months, and its edema volume was smaller(P<0.05) ; the operative regional edema volume of experimental group was smaller than control at half years (P<0.05), and the examples of experimental group who had generated
