The difficulty and importance:
理解和掌握一般过去时态只含实义动词(规则动词)的一般疑问句形式及其肯否回答,复习was和were的一般疑问句形式。

Step 1: Greetings:

Teacher: Are you ready for this lesson? Students: Yes
Teacher: Ok. Welcome to my English class. Let’s begin our new lesson. Step 2: Spoken language training
创设情景
Teacher: What’s the weather like today? Students: It’s fine.
Teacher: What’s the weather like tomorrow? Student: It will be a little cold. Teacher: Do you like this weather? Student: No .I like……I can……
Teacher: But I like autumn .the weather is cool in autumn .I think autumn is very beautiful .询问学生能否想起beautiful的意思。 Step 3: Reviews the words.
Translate the English words into Chinese.
出示幻灯片:按顺序出示一些单词,在规定时间内让学生将单词翻译成汉语。有时间限定,看在单位时间内谁能将单词翻译的又多又正确。

首先强调过去式的构成规则:
一般情况下直接加-ed 如:jumped ,listened 以e结尾的动词加-d 如:lived saved. 语言结构:Were you at home yesterday? Yes,I was .
Did you watch TV yesterday? Yes,I did. / NO,I didn’t. 替换短语,练习以上句型: at school play basketball play football watch TV wash clothes do homework. 同桌之间练习对话:
Were you at school yesterday? Yes,I was.
Did you play basketball yesterday? Yes,I did ./No, I didn’t.
