Smoing in indoor public places including public woring places, public transport vehicles(车辆) and some other special outdoor woring places has been banned(禁止) in China since January 2011. Let’s loo at the following advantages of banning smoing.

First, banning smoing will not only help in saving smoers from health problems and diseases, but will also be good for passive(被动) smoers. When the smoer is smoing in a restaurant, the people around him are sure to breathe(呼吸) in the smoe and suffer(受苦,患病) from the diseases an active smoer gets. If smoing is banned, spread of these diseases can be controlled(控制).

Net, banning smoing will put stress on smoers to give up. Since a smoer is prevented from smoing, he will learn how to live without smoing for long hours. When a smoer doesn’t smell or see anybody around him smoing, it might reduce his wish to smoe too. As a result, people have to give up smoing.

Smoing in public places influences non-smoers to start smoing, especially adolescents. When teens see people around them smoing, they will follow them. Thus the number of teen smoers will increase. Also asthma(哮喘) and other problems are often seen in children living around smoers. So if it is banned, these places will become safe for children and teenagers.

Smoing should be banned to increase wor productivity(生产率). Employees(雇员) who smoe usually tae breas to smoe while woring. So the number of hours they put in their wor is smaller.

But how does your brain allow you to learn things that you will use in the future? The structure (结构) of your brain changes every time you have a new thought, remember or learn something.
