Should mobile phones be forbidden at school
Since the advent of the iPhone, smartphones have become a modern, fascinating tool. At the same time, there is the objection of taking mobile phones to school due to students' addiction in using them. However, my opinion is that the merit outweighs the demerit in this case. On the one hand, mobile phones have powerful function except for only playing the meaningless games. From me, I download an application to recite English words. I can use the app anytime and anywhere. It benefits me a lot. In addition, subscribing the electronic newspaper such as the China Daliy can enlarge our horizon.
On the other hand, the ban is not always effective. While smartphones exert peculiar temptation to us, many students disobey the rules to play them. The school authority ought to lead rather than ban. Insructing students to use the mobile phones appropriately is also a quality education, which is a hot topic nowadays.
All in all, how to treat the problem that students overuse the mobile phones still needs to thread a thorny road.
