Step1 Lead-in T: We read through the article and finished some exercises yesterday. Today, we continue to study Lesson1 Tomorrow’s World. Step2 Listening Listen to the tape and read the article. Step3 Explain some language points T: We study some language points of this lesson, now. 1. would like + n. / 动词不定式 to do 想要做某事 feel like + n. / 动名词 doing 喜欢做某事 eg, (1) I’d like to eat something first. (2) I feel like eating something first. (3) Would you like a cake? 2. change something for something 把……换成…… eg, She has no money, so she changes some old clothes for money. change for the better/ bad 变好/变坏 change over 转变 change into 变成 eg, The good thing changes into bad thing. 3. offer n./ v. 提出，提供 offer sb. sth. for money 出价…卖…给某人 eg, The boss offered Jim the bike for 100 yuan.
offer sb. some money for sth. 出价…向某人买… eg, Jim offered the 100 yuan for the bike. make an offer of help/ support 表示愿意给人以帮助/支持 make an offer to do sth. 想做某事 4. in the last + 时间段＝ in the past + 时间段 （主句中的谓语动词用完成式） in the future 在将来 in future 往后，今后 from then on 从那时起 5. How do you think technology will change our lives? 句型：特殊疑问词＋ do you think/ know/ suppose/ expect……＋陈述句语序 改错：(1) When do you think will they go there? (2) What do you expect will they take? 6. find+ clause 发现，找到（强调结果，look for 强调过程），通常表示无意找而“发现” find out 指经过努力去打听，查清从而发现无形的或隐藏的事物，“查明” 7. connect 常与 with, by, to连用 eg, The two places are connected by a bridge. 8. get into 从事，开始某事，染上…习惯，学会某事，产生对某事的兴趣或爱好 eg, (1) She got into education 8 years ago. (2) His father gets into smoking when he has trouble. (3) I haven’t really got into my new job yet. (4) I’m really getting into pop music these days. 教 学 反 思
教学基本达到了教学目的，学生也能够积极配合教师的教学。学生动手和思考的时间和机会比较多，主要体现在用所学的词组口头翻译和笔译上面。语言点知识的授课，做到了由易到难，学生接受得比较好。
