Coffee is a necessary part of Italian culture and since arriving here over six months ago. I have definitely drunk a lot of it!
Of course, coffee is also very popular in the UK but coffee culture in Italy is a completely different story. In Italy, when you order a coffee in a cafe or a bar, you are presented with a tiny, biter espresso(蒸馏咖啡). This is \while takeaway coffee is extremely popular among Englishmen, it is not very common at all in Italy, especially in non-touristy areas.Generally, Italians prefer to drink their tiny coffees while standing at the bar and, for many, this

short break is an important part of their day.
Typically, breakfast at a bar in Italy includes a coffee and a pastry(油酥糕点).1 have been spoiled for choice with lovely cafes in the Italian town I'm living in. These cafes sell a series of mouth-watering pastries-either plain or filled with cream, chocolate, jam or Nutella- as well as delicious coffee. Cappuccinos are very popular at breakfast time and, for me, a creamy cappuccino and a pastry is the perfect way to start the day. I think it's a nice way to head to bar to buy a coffee and a pastry for breakfast before working and it's relaxing to take more time to enjoy such breakfast at the weekend.
Finally, I have found that coffee in Italy is so much cheaper than coffee in the UK. Of course, this means that in Italy it is possible to go out for coffee regularly without breaking the bank. 1. blindness. \人面失认症) or DP for short.
Experts say there are great differences between patients. In less severe conditions, people are unable to describe the face of someone they have just met. In severe conditions, people cannot even recognize their own kids in a group photograph.
Many people who have DP show no clear signs. Dacia Reid is one of them. If you met her, you probably would not know that her brain got injured as a child. There would be no sign of it until you meet her a second time. She would not remember how you looked. Reid has mostly got well from her injuries. But now, she suffers from face blindness.
The latest study on face blindness comes from the Prosopagnosia Research Centers at Dartmouth College in the United States. The researchers studied how people recognize faces. They compared 22 patients with DP to 25 other people. The researchers showed them videos of faces, bodies, physical objects and other things. They found that people with DP may not have been able to remember faces, but they could recognize scenes, bodies and other things.
The researchers say this study on blindness will not directly lead to any treatments. However, it could lead lo a deeper understanding of how we all remember the world around us, \hope that by really developing and understanding face processing itself-that will provide us with a model for understanding how other parts of the brain work.”

Every body knows how important it is for students to get a good night's sleep every night. You aren't able to do your best and keep up with all of your responsibilities unless you sleep well.
I' m sure you already know that you should go to bed at a reasonable hour. Most experts agree that the ideal number of hours is eight, and this has been accepted as common sense for as long as I can remember. However, I was young once and I know that most of you get much less sleep than that and in some cases it will be affecting your schoolwork.
I read an interesting article in a teachers' magazine recently. They did a study of 848 students in Wales. Worryingly, the results showed that teenagers are facing a new problem. They may go to bed and get up at suitable times but a growing number are waking up in the middle of the night, not to use the bathroom or have a snack but because of a new phenomenon: FOMO-fear of missing out.
According to the article, schoolchildren are suffering because of a growing trend(33)to wake up during the night to check social media. Afraid of missing a comment or opportunity to take part in a chat, teenagers are waking at all times of the night, going online and getting involved. All this happens when they should be sound asleep.
Experts are worried about this growing trend and the report gives some worrying results that I'd like to share with you: 23% of 12 to 15-year-olds wake up nearly every night to use social
media. Another 15% wake up at night once a week for the same reason. One in three students are often tired and unable to behave energetically in the daytime. Students who use social media during the night are more likely to suffer from depression and anxiety
So, I'd like to ask you to be responsible when it comes to social media, Be brave! Switch off your devices at night. The world won't end and your social media will be waiting to greet you in the morning! I give you my word that you wont have missed anything important.
