高效,轻便而省电的紫外光源将在许多领域产生革命性的影响,并为北京某这样的领头企业带来难以估量的巨大市场。现有工业中的紫外线光源都是汞灯紫外线光源。汞灯紫外线光源波长单一,体积庞大(20 厘米长度),需要1.5 千伏以上启辉器点亮,汞灯寿命短(频繁开启时仅5000 小时),易破碎,最大的缺点是汞的剧毒性。全固态紫外线LED 波长可调节,功率密度大,直流10 伏以下供电,非常小巧(封装后仅2 毫米见方)节能,耐久,无毒,是真正意义上的绿色产品。用全固态紫外线LED 取代汞灯必然有市场价值。
