(1)不管花费多少，我都打算买下那本书。

Their diet consisted largely of vegetables. 他们的日常饮食以蔬菜为主。
1）同义词：include vt. 包括, 包含， make up组成 2）常见短语consist of意为“由……组成，包括”，consist in意为“存在于”，consist with意为“与……一致，并存”
3）辨析：consist of，make up 和make up of 三者都表示“由……组成的”。
consist of不能用于被动语态, 相当于be made up of，后面是加组成的成分。 make up of用于被动语态。
联合王国包括大不列颠与北爱尔兰。 ________________________________
答案:The United Kingdom consists of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. aware of 知道的，明白的，意识到的
She was not aware of having done wrong. 她仍然不知道做错了事。 1）同义词：conscious adj. 有意识的, 有知觉的 2）反义词：unaware adj. 不知道的, 没觉察到的 3）同根词：awareness n. 知道;晓得
4)aware作“知道的”讲时，是形容词, 常作表语。 常见短语：
become aware of 意识到
as far as I am aware. . . 据我所知…… be lack of awareness 缺乏意识
5) 辨析：aware, conscious 和sensible
三者都含有“意识到的”意思，但还有细微差别。
aware指感官上的知觉，侧重“感官所意识到的外界事物”, 如: Everybody is aware of the importance of knowledge. 每个人都意识到了知识的重要性。
conscious表示内心所意识到的感觉，侧重“心理感知”, 如: One must be conscious of one’s shortcomings. 人要有自知之明。
4. on purpose 故意地(intentionally) by accident
(1)她故意把这个秘密告诉了他。 She told him the secret on purpose (2)你故意打破了那个花瓶。 You broke that vase on purpose 5. congratulate on 祝贺，向。。。。。。道贺
We congratuated her on passing the exam.我们祝贺她通过了考试。 from 与。。。。。。相异，不同于 名词difference
Written languages differs from spoken language.书面语言不同于口语。 6. regardless of, in spite of与despite regardless of 不理会,不顾
They decorated the house regardless of cost. 他们不惜成本装修这栋房子。 in spite of 不顾,不管,尽管
They went out in spite of the rain. 尽管下着雨,他们还是出去了。 despite 不顾,不管,尽管
They had a wonderful holiday, despite the bad weather. 尽管天气不好,他们的假日还是过得极为愉快。
以上的用法都可用though或although+从句来代替。 7. in case 以防万一,以免
后面可接从句,也可不接句子,常与just搭配构成just in case,表示“以防万
一”。
Write the telephone number down in case you forget. 把电话号码写下来以免忘了。
In case you need something, please don’t hesitate to let me know. 如果你需要什么东西就跟我说,不要客气。
vt. 像……；与……相似(look or be like) ★派生：_ resemblance n. 相似 类似 ■运用：用resemble翻译下列句子。 (1)你的单车与我的差不多。 Your bicycle resembles mine (2)你非常像你的母亲。
You resembled your mother very closely vt.& n.购买(buy, buying)
◆辨析：purchase 是较为正式的用语，buy是普通用语，意义较为广泛。 (1)你必须提前21天购票。

★派生： approve v赞成，同意 (1)他用赞许的眼光看了看儿子。
She looked at her son with approval
(2)她想赢得父亲的同意。
She wanted to win her father’s approval (3)他用微笑表示赞成。
He showed his approval by smiling. vt. 保证；担保(make sure) ★搭配：
（1）ensure .向某人担保某事
（2）ensure that + clause 保证…… (1)务必确保所有窗户都关紧了。

The medicine will ensure you a healthy body 12. negociate vt. 谈判；协商 negociation n. negociate with about sth. 与某人就某事谈判
He doesn’t want to negociate with the company for the matter. 他不想就这件事跟公司谈判。
