教学过程： Step1 Revision
1．Questions about the text: (PPT2)
(1) It is Sports Day. What are Su Hai and Su Yang doing? (2) What does Su Hai want to do? (3) What is Su Hai looking for?
(4) Where was the camera a moment ago and where is it now? (5) Where were the films just now and where are they now?
2．Guess and spell the words. (PPT3)
PPT 呈现六个单词或词组各20%的图片，让学生猜单词并拼写，猜对并拼写正确后点击出示
答案，并要求学生集体拼写。
Step2 Presentation
1．(PPT4) T: Where is the diary? S: It’s behind the school bag. (点击PPT，日记本书包后移到书包旁)

让学生用It was … a moment ago.的句型猜。
(3) 让学生闭上眼睛，把一个学生藏在门后。学生睁开眼睛发现有一个学生不在了，再次闭上眼睛，
让那个学生回到座位上，学生睁开眼睛，用He/She was … a moment ago.的句型猜一猜那个学生刚才在哪。
5．(PPT12 出示例句) Where was the cup just now? It was on the table. I was 11 years old last year(去年)。 Liu Tao was ill at home yesterday(昨天). She was in Shanghai two days ago.
让学生自主探究，总结一下在过去时中was和那些主语搭配。
PPT13，总结归纳：was是be动词is, am的过去式，在过去时中与第一人称和第三人称单数搭配。

5. (PPT22 出示例句) Where were the cups just now? They were on the table.
The twins(双胞胎) were 11 years old last year(去年)。 Where were you yesterday? I was ill at home. We were in Shanghai two days ago.
让学生自主探究，总结一下在过去时中were和那些主语搭配。
PPT23，总结归纳：were是be动词are的过去式，在过去时中与第二人称和各种人称复数形式搭配。
Step4 Listen, tick and circle
Su Hai wants to listen to some music. Listen to her conversation with Su Yang. Then tick the correct pictures and circle the correct words.
(PPT24) 点击喇叭播放两次录音，学生打开书本（Part D）选择真确答案。 点击逐个出示答案。
Step5 Consolidation
T: Look at the photo here. (PPT25) It’s me. Ten years ago, I was 17 years old. I was a student. I was thin. My hair was short. There were four people in my family, my father, my mother, my sister and me. There was only one TV at my home.
(PPT26) Now, I am 27 years old. I am a teacher. I am a little fat. My hair is long. There are three people in my family, my husband(丈夫), my daughter and me. There are three TVs in my home.
(PPT27) 仿照例文，要求学生根据提示写写自己几年中的变化，注意be动词的使用。 时间允许的话，请几位同学在课上交流。

1. 交流短文“Growing for ____ years”。 2. 完成《同步探究》A卷笔试部分。

教学后记：
本课时以回答课文问题入手，考察学生对A部分的理解和掌握情况，再以猜单词的形式复习B 部分词汇，使词汇复习具有趣味性。在句型教学过程中，教师通过形象的PPT演示，使学生一目了然，便于理解和运用be动词作谓语的一般过时的英语表达。在对话操练部分，教师注意细节处理，从不同层次学生的实际出发，由易至难，由口头操练到笔头练习，使不同层次的学生都有所提高。由于C部分图片对话操练较多，教师把它们分成单数形式和复数形式两块，中间穿插魔术和游戏等形式，充分调动了学生的学习兴趣和积极性，同时也避免了长时间同种形式的句型操练，有助于集中学生的注意力。另外还通过观察例句，以学生自主探究，找寻规律的方法，归纳be动词的过去式和主语的搭配，以培养学生的观察能力、自主探究能力和归纳总结能力。最后，通过“Growing for ____ years”的话题，要求学生写一写几年的成长变化，进一步锻炼学生的写作能力及be动词在不同时态中的运用能力。
