1教学目标
知识目标:How many ...are there? There are... .
学生能询问某物的数量并用形容词加以区分,学习并认读单词“rectangle”. 能力目标:结合对话内容提取重要信息,培养学生分层阅读技巧。
情感目标:通过谈论中国国旗图案,让学生了解国旗的含义,示意学生要团结协作,互相帮助,互相学习。

教材分析:
本单元主题围绕”I like the shape.”(形状)这一话题展开,涉及第一课时询问“不同特征物品的数量”,第二课时“某种物品的外形”,第三课时“某个图形中含有什么形状”。
本课选自北京版小学英语三年级(下册)Unit2-Lesson5, 该课的重点功能句为“How many ...are there? There are... .” 学情分析:
本节课的授课对象是小学三年级的学生。该班学生从一年级开始学习北京版小学英语改版课本,经过两年的学习,具有一定的知识基础,如一年级学习过“flag,star”。二年级(上)学习过“How many ...? There are... .”句型,二年级(下)学习过”big/small”,三年级(上)学习过“National”。为本节课的学习提供了一定的语言基础。

活动1【导入】教学过程
Show 1 big yellow star card and ask the Ss “What’s this?”
Show 1 small star card and ask the Ss “How many stars are there?”
T puts them on the blackboard.
T :Do you find sth. different? This is a ... star.
T sticks 3 small stars’ cards on the blackboard. T :How many stars are there? T :How many big stars ? T :How many small stars ?
S1:It’s a (yellow)star.
Ss:There are two stars.
S1:A big star S2:A small star
Ss:There are five stars. Ss:One big stars Four small stars
分别呈现大星星卡片和小星星卡片,教师用“How many...?”提问,唤醒How many ...? There be... .句型在学生头脑中的印象。
将大、小星星放在一起,提示学生用旧知单词big、small加以区别。
教师改变星星卡片的数量,用“How many...?”继续追问星星的数量,让学生再次运用There be... 回答 。

教师第一次播放动画。
教师播放情景动画,让学生带着问题和猜测在动画中寻找答案,并进行自我求证。
教师第二次播放动画,进一步追问学生如何描述国旗的?学生进行小组讨论。 教师利用重点单词挖空的方式,提示学生分层提取信息。
教师循循善诱,通过画长方形、涂色、移动星星等步骤,引导学生完善结论。 学习并认读单词“rectangle”
教师第三次播放动画,学生跟读。之后教师利用板书,鼓励学生复述描述国旗的句子。
