MONEY HANDLING APPARATUS, MONEY HANDLING SYSTEM, AND MONEY HANDLING METHOD
(57)
When a banknote cassette 60a is taken out from
a change machine 30a installed in a store A in which amoney handling apparatus 100 is installed (step S1) andis mounted to the money handling apparatus 100 (stepS2), the money handling apparatus 100 specifies a store(step S3), stores banknotes (step S4), calculates a fee(step S5), and updates the proceeds from sales and thefee (step S6). In this case, since the store A in which themoney handling apparatus 100 is installed is specified, the fee is \A is updated. Meanwhile, when a banknote cassette 60bis taken out from a change machine 30b installed in an-other store B (step S1’), a fee to be paid by the store Bis calculated, and the proceeds from sales and the feeof the store B are updated.

Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONField of the Invention
[0001]The present invention relates to a money han-dling apparatus, a money handling system, and a moneyhandling method which manage proceeds from sales ofstores.
Description of the Background Art
[0002]Conventionally, it has been well known thatmoney depositing machines for storing therein money asproceeds from sales of the stores are installed in storessuch as supermarkets. For example, Japanese Laid-Open Patent Publication No. 2015-108909 discloses amoney depositing machine including a coin depositingunit, a coin recognition unit, a temporary storage unit, amemory unit, and a storage unit. This money depositingmachine is configured to calculate the total weight ofcoins to be stored in the storage unit, by using the de-nominations and the number of coins, in the temporarystorage unit, which are stored in the memory unit.
[0003]For example, a money cassette, which hasbeen taken out from a change machine installed in astore, is mounted to the money depositing machine. Then, money stored in the money cassette is fed out andstored in the storage unit of the money depositing ma-chine, whereby the proceeds from sales in the changemachines installed in the store can be collected into themoney depositing machine.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004]Although some small-scale stores have alreadyintroduced a change machine and a cash register havinga POS (Point of Sales) function (hereinafter referred toas \money depositing machine. In the stores that have notintroduced the money depositing machine, for example, proceeds from sales need to be manually managed. Itmay cause a problem that the proceeds from sales can-not be accurately managed.
[0005]The present invention is made to solve theaforementioned problem in the conventional art, and anobject of the present invention is to provide a money han-dling apparatus, a money handling system, and a moneyhandling method which are capable of efficiently manag-ing proceeds from sales of a store that has not introducedan apparatus for managing the proceeds from sales.[0006]In order to solve the above problems, a moneyhandling apparatus according to one aspect of thepresent invention is installed in a predetermined storeand is configured to handle depositing of money as pro-ceeds from sales of at least the predetermined store. Theapparatus includes: a money receiving unit configured
to receive money as proceeds from sales of at least oneof other stores different from the predetermined store; adetermination unit configured to determine a store cor-responding to the money received by the money receiv-5
ing unit; a money storage unit configured to store thereinthe money received by the money receiving unit; and amemory unit configured to store therein information onproceeds from sales of each store.
[0007]A money handling system according to another10
aspect of the present invention comprises: a money han-dling apparatus which is installed in a predeterminedstore and is configured to handle depositing of money asproceeds from sales of at least the predetermined store;a first in-store apparatus installed in the predetermined15
store; and a second in-store apparatus installed in an-other store different from the predetermined store. Themoney handling apparatus includes: a money receivingunit configured to receive money stored in the first in-store apparatus and money stored in the second in-store20
apparatus; a determination unit configured to determinea store corresponding to money received by the moneyreceiving unit; a money storage unit configured to storethe money received by the money receiving unit; and amemory unit configured to store therein information on25
proceeds from sales for each store.
[0008]A money handling method according to anotheraspect of the present invention is performed by a moneyhandling apparatus which is installed in a predeterminedstore, and is configured to handle depositing of money30
as proceeds from sales of at least the predeterminedstore. The method includes: a money receiving step ofreceiving money as proceeds from sales of another storedifferent from the predetermined store; a determinationstep of determining a store corresponding to the money35
received in the money receiving step; a money storagestep of storing, in a money storage unit, the money re-ceived in the money receiving step; and a memory stepof storing, in a memory unit, information on proceedsfrom sales for each store.
