Step 5 Presentation
Show some phrases on the screen：want to do，help sb. to do，how to do，decide to do， love to do. And say：Now can you find the phrases in the article and translate them into Chinese? You can work with your partner if necessary. After some time， ask some students to report their answers. Then explain the phrases to the class and get them to remember them.
Step 6 Exercises
3c, Say：Now please use infinitives to complete the sentences in this part. Check the answers together.
4b, Say：Now there is a difficult task for you. Think over and try to fill in the blanks with the correct forms of the verbs in the box in 4b. If there’s any difficulty， you can ask your partner for help. Then ask some students to report their answers.
4c, Say：Many people like to make plans，what about you? Suppose you are making plansfor the coming summer vacation，think over and try to complete the sentences in 4c. Then ask some students to share their ideas with the class.
Step 7 Grammar Focus
Ask some studens to translate the sentences into Chinese and then ask the students to make up as many similar sentences as possible in pairs.
Step 8 Pair work
Say：Do you remember the phrases? Show the phrases in 4a on the screen and ask one or two students to translate them into Chinese. Then ask the students to work in pairs to fill in the blanks with the phrasal verbs. Finally check the answers together.
