Scott and Brendan met by chance in college and became good friends. Their meeting made them think about creating an app, which allows people of the same interest to know each other online and then meet offline. Then came the app--Meetup.
Meetup is a community-building app. It can connect people nearby. Its members can join a group that interests them online and then have a face-to-face meeting.
