【摘要】Background:The ankle is a common involved site of hemophilia arthritis. Early end-stage manifestations of ar-thritis often present in those patients and surgical treatment is usually an essential method for the disease. Objective:To ex-plore perioperative management, operation style and clinical outcome of tibiotalocalcaneal arthrodesis using interlocking in-tramedullary nail for end-stage haemophilic arthropathy of the ankle. Methods:Between January 2012 and December 2015, 10 male patients with end-stage haemophilic arthropathy of the ankle (12 feet) were admitted to our hospital. Their average age was 32.7 years old (range, 21-48 years old). Among them, there were 7 cases of hemophilia A and 3 cases of hemophilia B. The mean preoperative American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) score was 46.2 (range, 29-53). The alter-native scheme of blood coagulation factor in the perioperative period was confirmed by the consultation of hematologists. The tibiotalocalcaneal arthrodesis was applied in all the patients by using interlocking intramedullary nail. Results: The mean operation time was 72 min (range, 65-88 min). The median follow-up
