【摘要】Objective: To explore the rationship between pressure index and CysC、carptid intima-media thickness in elderly patients with essential hypertension. Methods: Select the Second People’s Hospital of Guilin Geriatrics June 2012 to June 2013 of 80 cases of hospitalized elderly patients with essential hypertention, average age71.30 ±3.90 years, according to the 24 -hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring results ,calculate 24-hour ambulatory pulse pressure index=24hours ambulatory pulse pressure/24-hour average systolic blood pressure. Take the median grouping, A group: 24hPPI>0.51, B group: 24hPPI<0.51.Grouping were measured serum cystatin C, Color Doppler measurement of carotid intima-media thicknes. Results: The cystatin C and intima-media thickness in patients with hypertension in group A were significantly higher than those in group B (P<0.05).Conclusions: Elderly hypertensive patients’ 24-hours ambulatory pulse index and cystatin C and carotid IMT correlated.%目的：探讨老年高血压患者24小时动态脉压指数与胱抑素C(CysC)、颈动脉内膜厚度（IMT,intima-media thickness）的相关性。方法：选择桂林市第二人民医院老年科2012年6月至
