(1)数字必须大小写，如：零、壹、贰、叁、肆、伍、陆、柒、捌、玖、拾

收款单位出纳员收到付款单位交来的支票后，首先应对支票进行审查，以免收进假支票或无效支票。对支票的审查应包括如下内容：
(1)支票填写是否清晰，是否用墨汁或碳素墨水填写;
(2)支票的各项内容是否填写齐全，是否在签发单位盖章处加盖单位印鉴，大小写金额和收款人有无涂改，其他内容如有改动是否加盖了预留银行印鉴;
(3)支票收款单位是否为本单位;
(4)支票大小写金额填写是否正确，两者是否相符;
(5)支票是否在付款期内;
(6)背书转让的支票其背书是否正确，是否连续。
收款单位出纳员对受理的转账支票审查无误后，即可填制一式两联进账单，连同支票一并送交其开户银行。开户银行审核无误后即可在进账单第一联上加盖“转讫”章退回收款单位。收款单位根据银行盖章退回的进账单第一联编制银行存款收款凭证。

支票的挂失
已经签发的普通支票和现金支票。如因遗失，被盗等原因而丧失，应立即向银行申请挂失。
(1)出票人将已经签发内容齐备的可以直接支取现金的支票遗失或被盗等，应当出具公函或有关证明，填写两联挂失申请书(可以用进账单代替)，加盖预留银行的签名式样和印鉴，向开户银行申请挂失止付。银行查明该支票确未支付，经收取一定的挂失手续费后受理挂失，在挂失人账户中用红笔注明支票号码及挂失的日期。
(2)收款人将收受的可以直接支取现金的支票遗失或被盗等，也应当出具公函或有关证明，填写两联挂失止付申请书，经付款人签章证明后，到收款人开户银行申请挂失止付。其他有关手续同上。同时，依据《票据法》第15条第3款规定：“失票人应当在通知挂失止付后3月内，也可以在票据丧失后，依法向人民法院申请公示催告，或者向人民法院提起诉讼。”即可以背书转让的票据的待票人在票据被盗、遗失或灭失时，须以书面形式向票据支付地(即付款地)的基层人民法院提出公示催告申请。在失票人向人民法院提交的申请书上，应写明票据类别、票面金额、出票人、付款人、背书人等票据主要内容，并说明票据丧失的情形，同时提出有关证据，以证明自己确属丧失的票
