用“There is … There are …”介绍物品。 用“What’s in …?”表示对存在物体的提问。 掌握词汇：study, computer, picture …
教学重点
用“There is …”询问单数事物。用“This are …”表示自己对复数物品的所有。用“What’s in …?” 表示对存在物品的提问。 能灵活地回答别人对自己提出的这一问题，流畅互动。注意对study, computer, picture等重要名词的应用。

教学步骤
Step 1 Warming up
T（出示钢笔）：What’s in the classroom? S（出示钢笔）：There is a pen in the classroom.
反复操练，让每个同学都结合自身说一句该句型的句子。 Step 2 Presentation and drill
1、 T（拿起两本学生的书）：What’s in the classroom?
T（拿起两本学生的书）：There are two books in the classroom. 板书并教学句型“What’s in the classroom?”。
2、 收集一些学生的笔放在讲台上，引导学生运用以下对话：
T：What’s in the classroom? S1: There is a book in the classroom. S2: There are two books in the classroom.
S3: ...
3、 出示教学挂图。
T(指着一幅挂图)：What’s in the classroom?
T(指着一幅挂图)：There is a picture in the classroom. 4、用同样的方法教学单词computer和kitchen。 5、听课文录音，让同学猜课文大致意思。 6、打开书，听录音，验证问题答案。 7、自由朗读，然后分角色表演课文部分内容。 Step 3 Practice
游戏——Completing the conversation.（补全对话)
将未说完的对话补充完整。如“What’s in the classroom?”，可让学生回答“There is a desk in the classroom.”
Step 4 Consolidation 1、 创设情景，自由会话。
情景：小米邀请小黑去家里做客，小黑看到了小米的书房。小黑看到了一台电脑，四张图片等等。
S1: Look at my study.
S2: There is a new computer in the study. S1: … S2: …
让学生大胆发挥想象，自由创设其他情景进行对话。
2、评价。对学生在活动中的表现给予肯定和鼓励；培养学生用英语进行交际的能力。培养学生听音和辨音的能力。
家庭作业
熟读并背诵课文部分。 对本单元进行自我总结。 和同学用所学句型造句。
