There’re a lot of shoes in this picture. Whose shoes are they? Yeah. The shoes are these women’s. Whose bedroom is this? It’s the brothers’. 2. Underline the first word ---boy’s with colorful chalk, and tell the students that: We add ’s to a singular noun to show that something belongs to someone or something. 3. Encourage the students to find out the rules by studying the sentences on the blackboard and book. ⑴ We often use ’s with names. ⑵ We add ’ to a plural noun ending in –s. ⑶ We add ’s to plural nouns that do not end in –s.
