课程英文名称:English Reading for Different Levels 课程目标:帮助我校初中学生在完成英语课本和英语教材课内学习的同时, 完成“英语课程标准”规定的阅读内容及阅读任务, 将“新课标”的教学理念贯彻到辅助阅读教学当中, 使学生达到“新课标”所提出的各项要求. 课程类型:选修 任课教师:初中教师
授课对象:选修这门课的初一学生 总学时:20学时 总学分:10分
预修课程:在学习这门课之前,学生阅读过除课本之外的适合小学生的课外英语阅读材料,掌握一定的词汇量. 例如, 《新课标英语分级阅读》.
教学要求: 读
1. 能预习课文,初步理解课文大意。
2. 能独立阅读生词率不超过2%的所学语言知识范围内的文字材料,阅读速度为每分钟 40—50个词。
3. 能初步借助词典阅读理解难度相当于课文的文字材料,获取所需信息,并从阅读中获得乐趣。 语音
1. 能运用基本的拼读规则读出单音节词和部分双音节词。 2. 能按国际音标正确地读出单词。
3. 能连贯地朗读学过的课文,语调、节奏和语音基本正确。 词汇
1. 能运用基本拼读规则拼写单词。
2. 能掌握450个左右最常用单词,100条左右习惯用语及固定搭配,能够在口笔头交流活动中运用。 课程进行方式:
1. 课前要求学生预习课文。 2. 课上讲练结合。
3. 课后要求学生做相关练习,并背诵课文。 教学内容与学时分配:

课程评价方式:对学生英语学习的评价应根据本大纲所规定的教学目标以及学生的实际水平,由教师和学生相互配合、协作完成。应对学生在学习过程中所表现的情感、态度和学习策略,掌握基础知识、基本技能和英语阅读的能力,以及表现出的发展潜能等,进行全面综合性的评价。
对学生学习的评价应坚持形成性评价和终结性评价并重的原则,既关注结果,又关注过程。形成性评价的结果在学生的学业评价中应占一定比例。教师要通过考查、观察和与学生的交流,对学生
的书面作业、口头问答、演讲、朗诵等课内外学习行为和学生的学习能力、学习态度、参与程度、合作精神等做出评价。形成性评价还应包括学生相互评价和学生自我评价等方式。对学生的学习情感、习惯和态度等方面的评价,应采用宽松、开放式的描述性评价形式。评价要有益于树立学生的自信心,培养学生的学习能力,形成学生继续进步的动力。
终结性评价的方式应指包括期中、期末考试等。考试是评价的重要手段和形式。考试应按照本大纲所规定的教学目标命题,要提高命题的科学性和质量,应侧重对学生实际运用英语能力的考查。 参考书目:《新课标英语分级阅读》 教材模式:
Which Tyre Was Flat?
Four girls went to school together every day by taxi. One day one of the girls said, “There is a test this morning. Let’s get to school late. Then we can miss the test.”
“What can say to the teacher?” One of the girls said. “He’ll be angry. We’ll need a good reason.” The girls thought for several minutes, then one of them said, “Let’s tell him that our taxi had a flat tyre.”
“That’s a good idea,” the other girl said. “We’ll tell him that.” They reached school an hour later. The test was already finished.
“Why are you late?” the teacher asked. “You missed the test.”
“Our taxi had a flat tyre.” One of the girls said. The teacher thought for a moment, then he said, “Sit down, one of you in each corner of the room.” The four girls did that.
Then the teacher said, “Write on a piece of paper the answer to this question: Which tyre was flat?” Notes:
