It doesn’t matter whether we succeed or fail. Which really matters is the process of preparation. I learned this from a recent football match.
I took a part in a football match last week. It was a very important match for me. My parents have promised to come to cheer but unlucky they didn’t turn up at all. With their absence, I felt left out and remaining in a terrible mood throughout the whole match. Naturally, I didn’t play well and our team lost the match. I got home, sad, when my parent were sitting in the sofa, enjoyed TV programs. I became annoying and asked why they didn’t go to the match. My mother said, “I know for sure it was a nice match, but the nicer part of it is the process of preparation, whether you are a winner and a loser.”
The words still ring around my ears, “It is not the result matters but the pleasure of preparation”.
