Do you know the date that the Spring Festival falls on in the 2013 Gregorian（阳历） calendar and which animal represents 2013 in China? Do you want to share your story about Chinese culture with global web users?
The 2013 global \now open. We look forward to your participation（参与）! You can show off your knowledge about China and share your China stories, learn interesting things, and have the opportunity to win a special prize.
The activity is sponsored（主办，发起） by the Bureau for External Cultural Relations（外部文化关系局） of the Chinese Ministry of Culture, and is available on Chinaculture.org. As an important part of the \New Year\（品牌倡议） being undertaken by the Ministry of Culture, it will be the most authoritative online interactive activity about the Chinese Spring Festival in 2013.
Participants can take part in the online quiz or essay contest, or both. The competition will run until the end of April 2013.
The online quiz is presented in English and Spanish but participants can use any language for the essay contest.
The top 100 scorers will receive prizes. If more than 100 people get the perfect score, there will be a drawing. 20 winners and more participation award winners will be selected from the essay contest. The results will be announced in late May 2013 on Chinaculture.org, and prizes will be sent to the winners.

Zhou wu is a teacher at Tianchang Primary School in Hangzhou.Over the years, He’s studied the performance of students as they moved from primary school and then to high school.Zhou finds that top students rise and then fall ,as they move from one level of schooling to the text.
According to zhou ,the top students in primary school aren’t at the top in middle school and the top students in middle school drop down the table after entering high school .He also found that the students who ranked 7to 15,rise to
the top when they move to the next education level.
Zhou said that top students in primary school and middle school only pay attention to study. This may make some students lose their interests in study .But students ranked 7to 15 improve step by step and are able to do with pressure better.
This may be true, but it’s also true that it’s more difficult for top students to move from primary school to middle school and then to high school than for others. Students are experiencing “the Wonder Years”of their development. It’s a time when their bodies are changing. It’s not all about school.
