Experts(专家)say that students usually need eight to ten hours' sleep at night, but most Chinese
students do not get enough sleep. Some Chinese parents are usually glad to see their children studying late. They will think their children work very hard, but not all parents are happy about this. Once a mother told us that every morning her boy who was 10 years old put up one finger(手指) with his eyes still closed, begging(请求)for one more minute to sleep. Like thousands of students “early bir ds” in China, he has to get up before six every morning.
A report shows that without a good night's sleep, students seem to be weaker than they should be. Many students have fallen asleep during class at one t ime or another. Too much homework is not the only reason why students stay up late. Some watch TV or play the computer games late into the night. Experts have ever said that the students should develop good study habits. So some clever students never study late, they are able to work well in class.

It was my first time in the US. I think there is no other country that I have heard so many things about before I visited it. Burgers, big cars, fat people, good wine and fantastic cities. For sure the real experience was quite different. Although you can find all these things there, you will also find many other things to discover.
In Los Angeles, I stayed at a place where they even produced home-made videos. I always thought in Hollywood only movies with lots of money are produced. But in this place, even parts of the living room were functioned (运作) into a scene. But anyway, this shows what you imagined about a place before arriving might be totally wrong. Now I started to understand the city is not only the place where the big movies are made, it's also where people are crazy about movies, and always try to start a production even if they don't have lots of money. People there just really love movies, they are motivated (调动积极) to give their ideas a try and at least open up a channel online with their home-made stories. Of course, there are many other interesting places in Los Angeles. As I stayed only a few days, it was not enough time to see all. But I advise you to have two apps on your smart phone for traveling in America. First is Yelp to find the closest and best restaurant or coffee place. And the other is Uber because especially in Los Angeles, you won't find taxis and everything is so far. You can also drive but it's wise to park your car close to a subway station and go to Hollywood by subway.
(1)The writer has already known a lot about the U.S. before going there except the ________. A . weather B . food C . people D . cities
(2)Which of the following is WRONG about the place where the writer stayed? A . Some home-made videos are also made.
B . Not only movies with lots of money are produced.
C . Even parts of the living room were functioned into a scene.

(4)The writer gives us some advice about traveling in America NOT including ________. A . how to find the best restaurant B . where to park our car if driving C . whether to find taxis if it's too far D . how to take a subway to Hollywood (5)The passage mainly talks about ______. If you go into the forest(森林) with friends, stay with them. If you don't, you may get lost(丢失). If you get lost, this is what you should do. Sit down and stay where you are. Don't try to find your friends. Let them find you. You can help them find you by staying in one place. There is another way to help your friends or other people to find you. You can shout or whistle(吹口哨) three times. Stop. Then shout or whistle three times again. Any signal(信号) given three times is a call for help. Keep up shouting or whistling. Always three times together. When people hear you, they will give you two shouts or two whistles. When a signal is given twice, it is an answer to call for help. If you don't think that you will get help before night comes, try to make a little house with branches(树枝). Make yourself a bed with leaves(树叶) and grass.
When you need some water, you have to leave your little branch house to look for it. Don't just walk away. Pick off small branches and drop(扔) them as you walk in order to go back again easily. When you are lost, the most important thing to do is stay in one place.
