【摘要】<正>Set up in 1958, the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,Ningxia for short, is one of China’s five ethnic minority autonomous regions and the only provincial-level autonomous region of the Hui ethnic. Located on the upper reaches of the Yellow River,it covers an area of 66,400 square kilometers and has a population of 6.39 million,35.4% of them being of Hui origin.
