The after-shredder has at least two rollers provided with circumferential faces running parallel to each other and to a rotational axis. The circumferential faces of the rollers have a toothed profiled section and a gap (32) relative to each other which is smaller than the grains contained in the harvested material. Each roller has sections of small diameter and sections of large diameter which enter in the sections of large and sections of smaller diameter respectively of the opposing roller to form a scissor edge along the end sides (40).
