摘 要：本文通过介绍淮北市测绘院利用拓普康ms05a高精度全站仪进行四等水准的实践，对应用精密三角高程实现跨河水准可行性进行探讨。

常规的高等级水准测量(三等以上的水准测量)，都是用精密水准仪进行几何水准测量，在某些特定的场合，如跨越较宽的水域(河、海等)，采用常规几何水准测量必将受视角和视距的限制而无法施测。在这种情况下，采用精密三角测量来代替几何水准测量，就方便和实用多了。
