口腔黏膜癌变过程中Runt相关转录因子3的表达研究

【摘要】Objective To detect the expression of Runt-related transcription factor 3 (RUNX3) in oral carcinogene-sis. Methods Ten normal oral mucosa, 40 oral leucoplakia (OLK) and 150 oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) tissues were collected to examine RUNX3 expression by immunohistochemistry assay, were examined by immunohistochem-istry assay; Finally, the relationship between RUNX3 protein expression with the clinicopathological parameters was statistically analyzed. Results In the normal oral mucosa, RUNX3 protein was expressed most strongly in the nuclei of the epithelia cells; in OLK, most cases showed normal express lever and cellular localization of RUNX3, however, 2 cases showed low lever of RUNX3 protein and 4 cases showed exclusively cytoplasmic retention of RUNX3 protein; in OSCC tissues, 55.3% (83/150) cases showed reduced or absent expression of RUNX3 protein. Furthermore 30% (45/150) cases showed exclusively cytoplasmic retention of RUNX3 protein. Only 14.7% (22/150) showed normal expression. Both down - regulation of RUNX3 protein expression ( P - 0. 001) and protein mislocalization ( P = 0. 001) were correlated with the differentiation grades in OSCCs. Conclusion Down-regulation
