摘 要：
PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus which accurately guides a drill along a path within an intramedullary canal of a femur, by providing a clamp having a gap of a predetermined width which is defined by a drill alignment guide with two teeth at one end of the alignment rod, which is secured to a handle and disposed parallel to the drill axis. CONSTITUTION: A clamp 40 is clamped to the femur 60 by way of an interference fit. Preferably, the clamp 40 is positioned a distance from the top end of the intramedullary canal. The intramedullary canal is slightly shorter than the combined length of the drill burr 20 and shaft 18. The drill burr 20 is positioned in the center of the
