1. I’d like to join the Music Club because I can play the piano. 我想加入音乐俱乐部,因为我会弹钢琴。 ⑴ would like 意为“想要”,后跟动词不定式,would like to do sth. 意为“想要做某事”,和want to do sth.是同义表达,语气更加委婉。

⑵ because是连词,意为“因为”。注意so和because不能同时使用。

⑶ can是情态动词,后跟动词原形,can表示能力或许可,可翻译为“能;会”。 ⑷ play the piano 意为“弹钢琴”,piano前面要有冠词the。 【拓展】 play the +乐器 如:play the piano 弹钢琴 play the violin 弹小提琴 play the guitar 弹吉他 play the drum 敲鼓

答案:B 解析:本题考查play短语中冠词的省略。Play chess 和 play volleyball都是固定搭配,这两个短语中都不需要使用定冠词,故答案为B。 2. What about you, Betty? 你呢,贝蒂?

What about 与 how about 同义,用于询问对方的意见或看法,what about 后跟名词、代词或动名词。 例2. — What about _____ the piano? — That sounds great!

答案:What/Which club does your sister want to join? 解析:本题考查what/which引导的特殊疑问句。时态是一般现在时,主语是your sister,对应的助动词要用does. 5. Don’t worry about Chinese. 不要担心汉语。 Worry作动词,意为“焦虑;担心”,表示“为....而担心/焦虑”要用worry about 。 【拓展】worried是派生词,意为“焦虑的;担心的”。 例5. My mother is worried ______ my grandfather’s health. 答案:C 解析:本题考查借此搭配。Be worried about 是固定搭配,意为“为...而担心/焦虑”,故答案为C。 6. I get on well with everyone...... 我和每个人都相处得很好... get on well with sb. 是固定搭配,意为“和某人又好相处”,也作get along well with sb.。 【拓展】

8. Choose me as your class monitor and I promise to help you! 选我当你们的班长,我保证会帮助你们! ⑴ choose me as your class monitor 属于“choose sb. as + 职务”的结构,意为“选某人担任某职务”。 ⑵ promise是动词,意为“承诺;保证”。promise to do sth. 表示“承诺做某事;保证做某事”。 例8. Our teacher promises _____ us to the museum.

⑴ 本句中的I’m sure 表示“我确信.....”。 ⑵ everybody是不定代词,表示“每个人”。

make our classroom beautiful 属于“make + 宾语+宾语补足语”的结构,其中形容词beautiful作宾补。 【注意】make sb. do sth. 也属于“make + 宾语+宾语补足语”的结构,该搭配中,make sb.后跟省略to的动词不定式做宾补。

fly a kite 意为“放风筝”,其中fly表示“放飞”。 【拓展】fly还有如下含义: fly v. 飞行 fly v. 乘飞机 The bird can fly. 鸟会飞行。 They will fly to London. 他们会乘飞机去伦敦。 【注意】fly to...表示“乘飞机去某地”,和go to ... by plane/air 是同义表达。 例12. 改为同义句,每空一词。

答案:fly to 本题考查fly to ....的同义表达。fly to ... 和 go to ... by air/phine是同义表达。 13. ....but I can’t swim well . 但是我游泳游得不好。 Swim是动词,意为“游泳”。 【拓展】swim的派生词有: swimmer n. 游泳者 swimming n. 游泳 She is a good swimmer. 她是一个很棒的游泳者。 Let’s go swimming. 让我们去旅游吧。 例13. 用所给词的适当形式填空 Let’s go ____________ (swim).

Ⅳ、易错易混全解 1.say, speak, tell, talk say speak tell talk 2. good, well good well 是形容词,修饰名词。 是副词,修饰动词;也可作形容词,但作形容词时只表示“身体好的”。 是及物动词,侧重“说”的内容,其后还可以跟宾语从句。 可以不及物动物,意为“说话;发言;演讲”,强调说话能力;还可以作及物动词,“speak+语言”表示“说某种语言”。 是及物动词,意为“告诉;讲述”,其后可跟双宾语或从句。Tell sb. to do sth. 意为“告诉某人做某事” 是不及物动词,意为“说话;谈话”,强调与某人交谈。常见搭配:talk to/with sb.与(某人)交谈;talk about sb./sth. 谈论某人某事 3. somebody, anybody, nobody, everybody

somebody anybody nobody everybody 意为“某人;有人”,多用于肯定句中。 意为“任何人”,多用在否定句、疑问句中。 意为“无人;没有人”,表否定,相当于not anybody。 意为“每个人;人人”。
