Qipao, a kind of elegant Chinese dress, stems from Manchu Nationality in China. In the Qing Dynasty, qipao was a kind of loose gown designed for royal women. In the 1920s, qipao underwent some changes under the influence of western clothing. The cuffs of qipao went narrower and the gown got shorter. These changes enabled qipao to fully show women’s beauty.
Nowadays, qipao often appears in world-class fashion shows. It is usually the first choice for Chinese women as they attend important social gatherings. Also, many Chinese brides will select qipao as their wedding dress. Some influential figures even suggest making qipao the national costume for Chinese women.

virtual world. Have you imagined what will happen when people prefer to live in the virtual world to meet their different kinds of needs rather than interact in the real world?
About this, views differ among different people. Some people believe that with its wonderful activities, the virtual world will enrich our life, while others are worried about that it will ruin our life. As for me, what I can imagine about living in the virtual world is that it will exert a negative influence on the way people live. First and foremost, the virtual world has changed the way that people communicate. If we are deprived of the opportunity to communicate in the virtual world one day, we may finally lose the skills to communicate, which will lead to the destruction of human beings. In addition, with the virtual world separating us with each other, we may be increasingly indifferent and cold-blooded, which will do great harm to the maintenance of our relationships.
To sum up, if we want to enjoy our life and continue our interpersonal relationships, it is necessary that we distinguish the virtual world from the real one and live up to every day in the real world.

My View on E-learning
With science and technology developing, an increasing number of people prefer to take courses and acquire knowledge online rather than attend school, causing e-learning booming all around the world.
Views vary from person to person on the thriving of e-learning. The majority of people consider it very necessary to learn online in the future, while others are against the idea. As for me, I agree with the former one. For one thing, there is no doubt that the Internet has made a great difference in every aspect of our life. As for online learning, it provides learners with many options in terms of time, locations, subjects and costs. For another thing, learners can be armed with the updated information through online learning. Just by clicking the mouse, any information that you need can be presented to you in no time.
Admittedly, e-learning offers us many advantages and makes our life more convenient and efficient；however, with so much useless and false information on the Internet, chances are that we may get misunderstood. Therefore, it is advisable for us to distinguish the authenticity of information when learning online and to make good use of the positive information.

The progression of technology is inevitable and undeniable, which makes the intelligent machine—robots an important part in our life. With the popularity of robots, what will happen to our work and life?
From point of my view, in the near future our work in industry will be operated by robots, which will raise productivity and cut cost of manpower. Our cooking, washing and cleaning in our daily life will be completed by robot servers, which will liberate us from trivial housework, and give us more time to do things we like. However, there is still much real challenge if robots become the mainstream of society. First, the less-skilled people will be out of work as a result of wide application of robots in industry. Second, we will get fatter and fatter because of robot doing housework instead of us.
Based on the above imagination, we can easily acknowledge that robot is a double-edged sword. We should draw on the advantages and avoid disadvantages, and make it bring maximum benefits to human beings.
