Background information:

As the Internet is becoming more and more popular in the world, 21 century is an

information age to us. There are more and more web users in

our country. The Internet has facilitated the communication among us, widened our horizons and enriched our life. The network is not only changing our way of thinking, but also providing us with more opportunities. Thanks to the rising of the IT industry and the improvement of network technology, the Internet has been able to develop rapidly in our country in recent years. The extension of the Internet plays an important role in accelerating information diffusion and promoting the development of productivity. Technology changes our life in every aspect.

Task 2 Pair work

4. Next, the teacher paraphrases the key words and sentences structures in each paragraph with the following notes.

5. Then, the teacher goes over the main idea of the whole passage with the class, and analyzes the structure of the passage.

6. Finally, get the Ss read the passage individually by a third time.
