separator, and a non-aqueous electrolyte, the non-aqueous electrolyte contains the compound having a nitrile group in the molecule, lithium borofluoride, and an electrolyte salt, and the non-aqueous number of the compound having a nitrile group in the molecule. The problem is solved by a lithium secondary battery, characterized in that the content in the electrolyte is 0.05 to 5.0 mass%, and the content of the lithium borofluoride in the nonaqueous electrolyte is 0.05 to 2.5 mass%.
