Tourism Law is the professional compulsory course of tourism management major. The course is based on legal theories and its core contents are the existing laws and provisions in tourism field. It is an applied course combining legal theories and tourism practice and its main research objects are legal relations in tourism activities.
2.Student Learning Outcomes
* In the knowledge level, students can have a deep understanding of basic concepts of tourism law and basic laws and provisions; grasp the ponits of legal relationship and system of tourism operators adiministration.
*In the capability level, students can make use of basic theories, bacic principles and basic methods of tourism law to analysis legal problems in the tourism practice.
*In the ideological level, students may establish legal thinking model and legal consciousness that tourism industry practitioners should have.
3.Course Expectations
The course mainly talks about laws and regulations of tourism industry that have been promulgated by the state, combined with plenty of tourism laws case study. Through the course, students can have a comprehensive understanding of

current situation and development of chinese tourism legal system and have a more accurate understanding of the number of important tourism legal provisions and documents. Especially through the typical case analysis and discussion, students can broaden their legal knowledge, improve their analysis capabilities and recognize the developing tourism industry from the legal point of view.
4.Assignments
* There may be two or more assignments. All assignments must be submitted on the date due. It is your responsibility to check the deadline for each assignments.
*These assignments are individual basis. In other words, each students has to submit his/her own assignments.
